Comments about Biofinity:

I wore the same brand for 15 years before moving to Biofinity. I went through about 8 kinds samples before finding these to be to best. I wear them 13-18 hours per day and change them every 2months. The last two weeks of that period provides less clear vision.

Not a bad lens, but I would still pick the old Focus first.

I have been wearing contacts for 18 years. I recently switched to biofinity after wearing encore premium for the last 3 years. As compared to they encore premium these lenses stay moist, are comfortable, and are still good even after 15 hours of wear. I forget I am wearing these they are so comfortable. I have to remind myself to take these out before sleeping. When wearing the encore premium - I could get 10-12 hours max and I was done for the day. I am very impressed with these lenses for their comfort and fit. The only problem I have is taking them off at night - they fit so well that they can be tough to grab off. I will gladly deal with this problem in return for the extreme wearing comfort I get from the lenses.

So these are my first brand of contact and they work great for the most part. The only bad time to wear them are when you're on a plane or another enclosed space with all of that "fake" air blowing on your eyes constantly. It dries out the contacts and I have to shut my eyes for a while but they still feel uncomfortable. I have dry eyes already so air conditioning and heating are my foes.

If you live in a temperate place where you don't use much of your heating or air conditioning, the contacts feel like nothing at all. I've accidently slept with them on a few times, and they still worked great.

I have also left one out to dry all day in 80 degree weather (I thought it was in the case but it must have slipped out..) and all I had to do was soak it for a few hours in the solution and it popped right open. I guess it could have given me an infection, but I'm pretty cheap so I used it the next day and it was like nothing had ever happened to the contact.

So, to wrap up. Great for long wear use as long as you arent trapped in a place blowing fake air at your face.

The most I've ever worn these contacts were about 13-15 hours and they were still comfortable at the end. I've tried other "breathable" brands and none compare to the comfort of the Biofinity.

i'm 37 and never wore contacts before. i decided to try them this year and i tried 3 different pair and was about to give up. then I was given a sample of these and they felt great. i have allergies and very sensitive eyes and these were the only pair that felt great, i can't even tell i'm wearing them.
