Comments about Biomedics EP:

These contacts really worked well transitioning from regular contacts to ones for Astigmatism. I can see to read and distance very well. They just aren't as comfortable (don't stay moist) to wear as Acuvue Oasys, especially all day and evening or for sports where eyes typically get dry anyway so I'm going to dry Oasys for Astigmatism next.

  My doctor told me that 4 boxes (the six month supply online) was a year supply. I specifically asked how long I could wear them (Proclear EP) and was told they were for a month. I'm on my third pair now. I have to say that the longer I wear them the more uncomfortable they become. I found it interesting that this site says 1 to 2 weeks, which makes sense to me, because before the end of a month I'm wanting a new pair. The only other issue I've had is that the lenses seem to become fragile over time. I've had them tear in half while removing them. Personally, I think the daily wear lenses might be the better way to go. I'm also going to look into the AquaSoft solutions recommended here since I've been using B&L Renu (which I was given by my doctor) and I'm wondering if it might be too aggressive on these lenses.

My Doctor perscribed the Biomedics EP with a DIA of 14.4. Through 1-800 contacts I am not able to custom fit the DIA. It is only giving me a DIA of 14.0. Is this going to make a big difference?
