I'm african american so my eyes are naturally dark brown almost black. When i wear these, i get so many people complimenting my eyes, and many are surprised to find they're fake. The funny part is that I buy the amethyst and the gray, both which would be unique to find on an african-american, but people believe it to be my own eyes. I would definitely recommend these contacts to other people.

First of all my clear contacts that I normally use are Air Optix (very good brand btw). So these contacts were a little different. Very thin, compared to my old ones and very fragile. Seems like you have to be very extremely careful with them. Another thing is the blurriness, I guess i haven't gotten used to it because I haven't worn them a full day yet. And also the fact that I'm used to very clear contacts. The color actually looks natural, but because I'm used to my black eyes I felt like they looked fake on me. But others told me they looked natural. (I got honey) and btw I'm african american, but still very light. So they looked alright.

Only complain that I have is the blurriness really. But by reading other reviews I may just get used to it like others have.

Service and delivery comments:

I was really happy with the delivery. I had ordered them on a Wednesday night, and they said that it would take 5-7 business days. Which would mean that they would come in between the Wednesday of the following week and Friday. But when I came back from that Monday, they were already there! So it was more like a 2-3 day order (without the extra price)

I was really surprised to read all the positive reviews. My naturl eyes are a drab green so I wanted something that would look natural and yet "pop" . I ordered blue and they did nothing - my eyes looked exactly the same. I threw them out and I am going to try another brand.

I really love the colors Freshlook Colorblends offers ... the colors are true to the descriptions, they look absolutely natural and realistic, they are so beautiful, so unique and not so fake. I use it occasionally for special occasions, for everyday occasions when I simply want the pop of color that makes just the right amount of "wow, she has beautiful eyes" or what is it about her? I love the colors. I have tried all colors except for Brilliant Blue since it is already so similar to the True Sapphire. Only thing I dont like about them is they are really drying. I constantly have to put drops in them before I put on the contacts AND after. And yes, the vision is a little blurry when I just put them on until I get used to the blurriness throughout the day then it is not such a big deal anymore. For some reason, dry eyes seem to make me tired and my eyes want to close all the time. Wish my eyes could breath better with these. Otherwise, I love them and highly recommend them for dark eyes .... brown or any shades darker ... no pain no game ... not like they are painful, just that the dryness can really effect you throughout the day ... dont even think about wearing them at night to sleep, they might get stuck and yes, turn your eyes red for days.

  The FreshLook lenses are not designed to be worn overnight, and may be uncomfortable if you do so. You can speak to your eye doctor about their recommendations for your wear schedule. If they approve you to wear them overnight, that is fine, but otherwise they should be taken out each night.

  The FreshLook Colorblends are only manufactured in a base curve of 8.6. Unfortunately, if you have a different base curve, you were probably prescribed a different brand of contact lenses. Since each brand will fit differently and is unique, prescriptions for contact lenses are brand specific. You would need to order the brand your doctor has prescribed, and the measurements you have been given should fit with that brand.

I have used Freshlook Colorblends in Grey since I was 18, now I am 24; I've had nothing but good comments and remarks since. My eye doctor whom prescribed them to me wasn't lieing... They look great! You sould be able to try out the colors at your eye doctors office!!

  The FreshLook Colorblends are made in power increments of 0.50 once you are above a +2.00 prescription, so they are only available in a +2.50 or a +3.00. Since the doctor wrote +2.75, there are a few possible explanations. You may be looking at a glasses prescription, which would have different numbers than the contact lens prescription. You may also have been prescribed a different brand of contact lenses, or the doctor might not have realized they don’t make them in a +2.75.   You would first fill in the prescription for each eye, which in your case would be exactly the same. Then choose the quantity you wish to purchase.
