Perfect contacts for dry weather

By Dee

from Chicago,IL

About Me Experienced wearer

Pros

  • All-day comfort
  • Clear vision
  • Easy to put in
  • Feel moist

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Can be worn up to a month

    Comments about Proclear:

These contacts are perfect for those that live in dryer climates. The contacts stays moist most of the day without having to add eyedrops. However, these contacts aren't for everyone. If you experience symptoms like redness, or if they are just uncomfortable, you may not be able to wear contacts or you should switch to another brand.

        Comments about Proclear:

My doctor prescribed these for me based on recommendation of contact lens that wouldnt be like a bandaid. I am not a fan! From day one they have been very difficult to put in, and blurry vision is a problem, I feel like something is in there all the time, and constantly cleaning them. I would not recommend these.

            Comments about Proclear:

These contacts are supposed to last 30 days. I'm lucky if I can get a week out of one of them. They tear SO easily. Just taking them out they tear. They are extremely thin and difficult to put in because they want to wrap around your fingertip. Awful product.

            Comments about Proclear:

These are the first contacts I was recommended by my doctor. Each time I put them in, it takes a while to get them to being real comfortable, but after having them in for a long time, I can't even feel them and totally forget they're there - often causing me to forget to take them out. They're pretty comfortable after a while in general, but I do notice that if anything - any particle of dust or anything - gets in, it takes forever and a lot of pain to remove it. I will try something new.

            Comments about Proclear:

Ive only had my contacts for just over a year. But i love these.. they are quite comfortable.. i do experience some blurriness.. but ive been told "the price you pay for wearing the equivalent of a peice of wet saran wrap over your eye!" lol..ive also had alot of movement in one eye, might be a sizing issue and also goes away after about an hour.. anyway i havent had any problems with them tearing and i use my nails to get them out, sometimes have to even rub them out. I wear them for 8+ hrs each time and dont experience any bad dryness either.

No, contact lens prescriptions are different than glasses prescriptions, and the measurements would be different. If you need help locating your contact lens prescription, or if you don't have a contact lens prescription, we would be happy to help you by phone at 1-800-266-8228.

Your prescription from the eye doctor should specify which base curve you need to order. If you don't have a copy of your prescription or a box of lenses to look at, we would be happy to call your eye doctor to get that information before you order. Feel free to give us a call at 1-800-266-8228 for further assistance.

Each box of Proclear contains 6 contact lenses. Proclear lenses are designed to be a monthly wear lens, so you would wear each pair for 30 days. A six month supply is 2 boxes, one for each eye, and would cost $74.98.

              • 1-800 CONTACTS Customer Care

                A:

OD and OS are abbreviations for Latin terms used to identify your right and left eye. OD refers to the right eye and OS refers to the left eye.
