What is an online vision exam?
An online vision exam is a convenient and affordable way to renew your contact lens or glasses prescription from home—no appointment necessary.
Why didn’t my doctor tell me about these other contacts?
Some eye doctors provide patients options to see what feels best and what may work best for their budget and lifestyle, but others don’t. With our expansive inventory of millions of contacts, we can provide you with options.
How long does a vision exam take?
Our online vision exam takes less than 10 minutes to complete. All you need is your smartphone or laptop and ten feet of space to get started.
How often should I get an eye exam?
It’s usually a good idea to get a comprehensive eye exam every one to two years, depending on your overall health. But if you want to change contact brands or renew an expired prescription without another trip to the eye doctor, you may be able to take a vision exam online.
How much is a vision exam with insurance?
Vision insurance usually covers one regular, in-network visit with your eye care provider per year ($150 on average). Depending on your insurance plan, you may need to pay an additional copay. Many insurance providers also cover the cost of an online vision exam. Since our online vision exam is free right now, you can save your vision insurance benefits for your contacts or glasses.
