What is an online vision exam?
An online vision exam is a convenient and affordable way to renew your contact lens or glasses prescription from home. No appointments necessary.
How much does a vision exam cost?
While a typical in-office comprehensive eye exam costs $150 on average, our “just-renew-my-prescription” online vision exam is just $20. Talk about saving those dollars.
How long does an eye exam take?
A comprehensive eye exam at your eye doctor usually takes an hour plus driving time. Our online vision exam takes only 10 minutes to complete, and you can expect results usually around two business hours. (And no driving required.)
How can I take an eye exam online?
Taking an online vision exam is easy. All you need is your laptop and ten feet of space. Click any button above to get started. We’ll walk you through your exam which should take only about 10 minutes to complete.
How often should I get an eye exam?
It’s usually a good idea to get a comprehensive eye exam every one to two years, depending on your overall health. But if you want to change contact brands or renew an expired prescription without another trip to the eye doctor, you may be able to take a vision exam online.
How much is a vision exam with insurance?
Vision insurance usually covers one regular, in-network visit with your eye care provider per year (costs $150 on average). You may need to pay an additional copay depending on your insurance plan. Many insurance providers also cover the cost of an online vision exam. (And if not, ours is only $20.)
